Closures necessary for drainage work and movement of equipment

FAIRFAX, VA - Starting on or about Wednesday night, Feb. 14, three lanes of northbound I-495 (Capital Beltway) between Dulles Toll Road and Georgetown Pike will be closed, with one northbound lane remaining open, for crews to perform drainage work. This closure will begin with one lane closing at approximately 9:30 p.m., followed by a second lane closing at 10 p.m. and a third lane closing at 11 p.m. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m.

Affecting eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Airport Access Road to northbound I-495; Closure needed to set bridge beams

FAIRFAX, VA - The ramp from the eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Airport Access Road(Route 267) to northbound I-495 (Capital Beltway) is scheduled to close during overnight hours beginning on or about Wednesday, Nov. 8 through early morning,Monday, Nov. 20. These closures are necessary for crews to set beams for the eastern section of the new northbound I-495 bridge to general purpose lanes.

Motorists should follow posted detour

FAIRFAX, VA - The ramp from Georgetown Pike to I-495 South in McLean will be closed during nighttime hours for drainage work starting on or about Thursday night, Oct. 26 at 11 p.m. and continuing nightly through the weekend. This ramp closure will affect drivers traveling east- and westbound on Georgetown Pike headed for southbound I-495. Drivers should follow the signed detour, and plan extra time if traveling in this area.
