UPDATE ON VDOT'S 495 EXPRESS LANES NORTHERN EXTENSION PROJECT
March 12 Location and Design Public Hearing postponed; Public comment period continues; Details on future public involvement to be provided when available
The Location and Design Public Hearing for the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension Project (495 NEXT) scheduled for March 12, 2020, at Langley High School in McLean was postponed as a precaution related to spread of the coronavirus. Proposed design plans and findings from the project’s draft environmental assessment (EA) were made available prior to the meeting (see below) and are available for review and comment.
Details on future project public involvement will be provided when available. The deadline for the public to provide formal comments and input has been extended until further notice.
